As we have all seen the viral video (or the one edited by InfoWars) of CNN reporter Jim Acosta at the White House news conference, this picture from a different angle has not been widely seen. I believe this is a great work of photojournalism, as it perfectly captures the moment. I think it was great for Boston Globe to have selected that photo to accompany the story instead of just using the video that has been already been circulated by everyone else.
For the past two weeks, the devastating tragedy of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi has been widely discussed as more and more information becomes available. Despite the president’s denial to CIA’s reports, in the court public opinion, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is guilty for orchestrating Khashoggi’s violent murder. For the story, I highly recommend this video by New York Times.
Boston Globe has also covered the Khashoggi’s story thoroughly.
